Job Summary
Perform advanced troubleshooting, calibration, repair, and preventive maintenance on complex manufacturing equipment including robotics, PCB soldering, and injection molding systems. Mentor junior maintenance personnel and participate in teams to identify and solve complex production issues. Enter accurate entries into the equipment maintenance database while working with minimal guidance. Apply World Class Manufacturing Principles and follow all operational standards. Requires an associate degree in electronic technology or equivalent experience, advanced knowledge of analog and digital electronics, and proficiency in modern test equipment. Located in Pullman, WA, with a starting pay range of $24.53 - $46.26 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in electronic technology or equivalent experience
- General knowledge of programming critical path production equipment
- Advanced understanding of electronic, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic technology and theory
- Advanced knowledge of analog and digital electronics
- Advanced knowledge of utilizing modern test equipment to diagnose equipment failures
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining automated manufacturing equipment, including analog, digital, and microprocessor circuits as well as vision and robotics systems
- Expertise in Excel, Word, Access and maintenance software
- Demonstrated ability to train and mentor staff
- Ability to accept and understand direction, learn new skills and assume new responsibilities with a positive attitude
- Ability to perform assigned tasks under minimal direction and guidance
- Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
- Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Background check results satisfactory to SEL
- Negative drug test result(s)
Desired Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of programming automated production equipment
- Basic knowledge of printed circuit board assembly, mechanical assembly, and cable assembly processes
