Job Summary
Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance of electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment in a Class 1 cleanroom, including installation, operation, repair, and testing of systems in Wafer Fab functional areas such as Diffusion, EPI, Etch, or Thin Films. Diagnose and repair electromechanical equipment by interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings while utilizing pneumatic, vacuum, hydraulic, and robotic systems. Requires 3+ years of experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance, strong mechanical and electronic skills, and the ability to lift 40lbs. This is an ITAR role requiring U.S. citizenship or U.S. Person status, with 100% onsite hours in Palm Bay, FL, on a compressed work week including day and night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- AS or AA in electronics, electrical, mechanical engineering or military training in electronics, avionics, or nuclear power support
- 3+ years maintaining equipment in one or more Wafer Fab functional areas such as Diffusion/LPCVD, EPI, Etch, or Thin Films
- Strong Foundation of mechanical skills
- Demonstrable knowledge of pneumatic, vacuum, hydraulic, and robotic systems
- Strong foundation of electronic skills
- Understanding and interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
- Demonstrated knowledge in how to approach installation, operation, repair, and maintenance of electromechanical equipment
- Demonstrated knowledge in diagnosing, testing, and repairing equipment by utilizing electrical repair procedures
- Excellent Oral communication skills
- Excellent Written Communication skills
- Demonstrated problem solving ability
- Must be able to lift 40lbs
- This is an ITAR role - the candidate must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. Person
- This position is 100% onsite in Palm Bay, FL
- Hours are on a compressed work week, 3 days- 7am to 7pm one week, and 4 days the next week
- Both day and night shifts are available
