Job Summary
Generate equipment maintenance schedules to maximize utilization and perform mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks on production equipment. Act as the first level escalation for equipment failures and manage schedules, logistics, and documentation for calibration work completed by external vendors. Execute Installation Qualification test plans for new and revised equipment and assist with infrastructure changes and spare parts inventory management. Perform cleanroom monitoring and maintenance activities including HVAC systems. This role involves a rotating or variable schedule with evening shifts and weekend coverage, located on-site in Burnaby, BC.
Required Qualifications
- Technical diploma, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in equipment maintenance or servicing
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment such as ISO13485 or AS9100 preferred
- Experience working in a cleanroom environment is desirable
