Equipment Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
On-site role performing preventive maintenance and routine upkeep of electro-mechanical equipment in manufacturing. Responsibilities include servicing feeders, repairing and data tracking, training employees in operation and maintenance of machinery, dismantling, adjusting, repairing and assembling equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, or manuals, and using test/diagnostic equipment to perform checks. May train and coordinate activities of MA, may require overtime, and adherence to security policy. Requires the ability to read/write English and familiarity with basic mathematics, torque specifications, electronic color codes, and Windows-based software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, email). An Associate degree in electronics (emphasis on servo positioning) or equivalent, and 0–2 years of related experience are expected. This is an on-site role in Bray, Ireland, with standard Monday-Thursday, 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-4pm hours. Jabil emphasizes fraud awareness and equal opportunity employment.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in electronics with emphasis in servo positioning theory or equivalent discipline
- Prior experience as MA may be substituted
- Zero to two (2) years work-related experience preferred in electro-mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment
