Job Summary
Micron Technology seeks a motivated Equipment Maintenance Technician to ensure efficient tool performance and maintenance in a new technology and manufacturing environment. Candidates will collaborate with team members and tool vendors to address preventative maintenance and safety concerns, identify performance gaps, and implement improvements. The role requires standing for long periods, handling equipment, and maintaining cleanroom standards. Essential qualifications include an associate degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, or Robotics, and experience in preventative maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in relevant technical fields such as Mechatronics, Electronics, or Robotics and/or 2 years of experience in maintaining manufacturing equipment, automation, and/or technical military experience.
- 2 years of experience performing preventative maintenance and repair on manufacturing equipment, ensuring minimal downtime, and maintaining industrial equipment, automation.
- 2 years of experience in using mechanical, electronic, and PC/software skills to fix and resolve manufacturing equipment issues.
Desired Qualifications
- 4+ years’ experience in maintaining manufacturing equipment, automation, and/or technical military experience.
- 4+ years’ experience in leading projects related to manufacturing equipment maintenance and improvement, with a focus on meeting scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
