Job Summary
Perform periodic preventive maintenance, install, troubleshoot, and repair production machines and plant facilities in accordance with safety and productivity systems. Execute emergency unscheduled repairs during production and scheduled maintenance during machine service, utilizing skills in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and troubleshooting systems. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to complete required maintenance tasks, while assisting supervisors with training on safe equipment operation. Comply with safety regulations, maintain clean work areas, and build relationships with all team members. Work a 12-hour day shift (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM PT) on a rotating compressed workweek in a manufacturing environment with potential exposure to high noise, physical hazards, and hazardous materials.
Required Qualifications
- 3-8 years of experience as an Equipment Technician, Mechanical/Electrical Technician, or similar experience
- Minimum of 2 year in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot complex equipment safely and confidently
- Independent problem solver
- Strong organizational skills

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
