Job Summary
As an Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will troubleshoot and repair machines in Stack Manufacturing, execute preventive maintenance, and perform machine installations or modifications. Required skills include experience with mechanical and electrical systems, specifically pneumatic and high temperature systems, as well as familiarity with PLC and automation. The role demands proficiency in communication, self-management, and the ability to work in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- 3 yrs experience in manufacturing environment preferred
- Well rounded in mechanical systems including Pneumatics, vacuum systems, motor alignment, hoists
- Well rounded in electrical systems (up to 480VAC): VFD’s, motor/encoder systems
- Experience repairing machinery in a high volume manufacturing atmosphere
- Superior communication skills, (written, verbal and active listening)
- Intermediate skill level with MS word and excel
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with high temperature systems up to 1200C
- PLC & Automation Experience
- MIG, TIG & Arc welding experience
- Tool & Die - precision measurement and adjustment skills including laser measurements
- Experience with Rolling Hearth Kilns (RHKs) – Maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs
- Power point proficiency
