Job Summary
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on custom industrial machinery to ensure optimal functionality and safety. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues while performing repairs independently. Follow all company policies and safety protocols strictly to maintain a compliant working environment. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and manage inventory of supplies, placing orders as necessary. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime. Monitor and manage time effectively while prioritizing tasks. Work closely with other departments to support overall facility operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in various conditions
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
- Must be available for extended shifts and occasional Saturdays
- Must be able to work overtime
Desired Qualifications
- Technical degree or certification
- 1-2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role
- Mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic diagnosis and repair capability
- Proficiency with Windows-based computer systems, including troubleshooting, software installation, and system configuration
- Programming & CMMS familiarity
