Job Summary
Equipment Maintenance Technician responsible for performing unscheduled and scheduled repairs on production and facility equipment (mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic) in a high-production industrial environment. Duties include diagnosing malfunctions, repairing or replacing defective parts, assisting with installation of feeders and wiring, troubleshooting electrical and control components, conducting preventive maintenance, maintaining paper and computer-based records, coordinating with 3rd party vendors when needed, and following safety protocols. Extensive training is provided; role requires attention to detail, ability to read manuals/schematics, and the ability to work with blueprints and electrical/electronic components. Overtime and weekend work may be required. Knowledge of ITAR/export control considerations and ability to comply with environmental, health, and safety policies are noted in the role context.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; able to stand for long periods; able to lift 40 pounds
- Willingness to work overtime, including weekends; 2 years troubleshooting/repair experience preferred
