Job Summary
Execute preventive maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and repair work on CNC machines, welding systems, and ultrasonic cleaning lines to ensure safe, reliable equipment operation. Perform advanced diagnosis and corrective actions for automation, vacuum, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems while minimizing downtime through rapid root cause identification. Assist with installation, qualification, and commissioning of new equipment, validating production readiness and coordinating with manufacturers for major repairs. Report to the manufacturing engineering supervisor with up to 5% travel required. Hourly pay ranges from $22.50 to $37.50.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree, military technical training or their equivalent vocational training
- 2+ years of related experience
- Advanced mechanical troubleshooting
- Electrical troubleshooting (24VDC, 120VAC, 480VAC systems)
- Reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
- Pneumatic and hydraulic system maintenance
- Sensor, motor, VFD, and servo system troubleshooting
- Strong analytical troubleshooting ability
- Maintenance management software (CMMS)
- Strong communication skills
- Up to 5% of Travel
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time
- Occasionally moves/positions objects up to 50 pounds
- Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination
- Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods
