Equipment Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary
Plan, coordinate, and supervise inspection, testing, repair, and maintenance activities for cranes, rotating, and auxiliary equipment. Develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime while managing workshop resources, personnel, and documentation. Troubleshoot technical faults and ensure adherence to OEM standards, QHSE policies, and industry best practices. Support business development and tendering teams with technical input, participate in client audits, and provide reports on equipment condition and lifecycle planning. Assign tasks to technicians, deliver safety briefings, and collaborate with procurement to ensure timely parts availability. Requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, 7-10 years of experience in equipment maintenance, and relevant certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field
- Associate Degree in Automotive Technology or Electrical Engineering Technology with extensive experience
- Relevant technical certifications (CMRP, CMM, CPMM, OSHA Safety Certificate, Crane/Lifting IRM certifications)
- 7-10 years of experience in equipment maintenance, inspection, repair, and management
- Strong background in cranes and heavy equipment IRM operations
- Proven track record of project delivery, workshop supervision, and team leadership
- Expert knowledge in Electrical System Diagnostics & Repairs and Instrumentation & Control Systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with attention to detail
- Proficiency with maintenance tools and electrical testing equipment
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong team collaboration skills
- Understanding of QHSE Standards & Compliance
