Job Summary
Lead, supervise, and develop the port equipment maintenance team to ensure safe, reliable, and effective maintenance operations across electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. Oversee preventive maintenance programs executed through the IFS CMMS system while coordinating repair activities with operational requirements. Monitor contractor performance, manage spare parts procurement, and maintain technical documentation and equipment records. Promote a strong safety culture through training, incident reporting, and preventive action implementation. This role supports APM Terminals' global Asset Management transformation by driving operational excellence and reducing downtime at Georgia's largest multi-purpose port.
Required Qualifications
- Higher technical education in a relevant engineering or technical discipline
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience as an engineer within port crane maintenance or port equipment maintenance operations
- Strong knowledge of maintenance practices for complex electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to work with manufacturer technical documentation and equipment manuals
- Proven experience managing technical personnel and developing team capability
- Strong problem solving skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and make sound technical decisions in demanding operational environments
- Fluency in English
