Job Summary
Troubleshoot machine malfunctions, isolate failure mechanisms, and execute repairs in the most cost-effective manner. Perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and re-qualifications on equipment at specified intervals. Assist process technicians with equipment installation and removal, while researching corrective action reports and tracking mechanisms. Record times and problems in logs, provide daily functioning activity information, and set up laboratory equipment for testing and calibration. Disassemble instruments to inspect components, align repairs, and devise formulas to solve measurement problems. Assist engineers in formulating test, calibration, and evaluation plans to maintain precision accuracy. May require travel to other Flex sites or vendor locations, with potential for both software and hardware maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- Possesses a Degree in related discipline or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in the related field
- May require travel to other Flex sites or equipment vendors' locations
