Job Summary
Equipment Installer I is responsible for high-quality installation of equipment in Data Center/Construction environments in accordance with engineering drawings, MOPs, and customer standards. This field-based role requires regional and occasional national travel. Responsibilities include installing equipment on-site, analyzing job drawings/specifications, ensuring installations meet standards, maintaining safety with PPE and procedures, providing excellent customer service, using a computer for data-entry tasks, and passing background, drug, and motor-vehicle screening. The role emphasizes safety, hands-on use of tools, and collaboration with customers while traveling to Dallas, Austin, or San Antonio, TX.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong verbal, written and customer-facing skills
- Basic computer skills (MS Office or equivalent)
- Basic knowledge and skills with hand tools
- OSHA10 required, OSHA30 preferred
- Fall protection preferred
- Manlift/Forklift certification preferred
