Job Summary
Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs for manufacturing equipment and infrastructure while troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated systems. Oversee facility infrastructure including cleanrooms, HVAC, and utilities to support ISO Class 7 and Class 8 operations, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EHS, and building codes. Coordinate facility expansions, production layout changes, and utility upgrades, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and facility operations. Document equipment changes within the quality management system, analyze performance data to reduce downtime, and train team members on calibration and maintenance protocols. Provide technical support during audits and inspections, manage contractors and vendors, and assist with root cause investigations for nonconformances.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or eight years of equivalent education and experience
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment, automation, utilities, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
- Ability to train employees on preventive maintenance and calibration
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Flexibility to support occasional off-hours work and travel
- Ability to pass required background and drug screenings
Desired Qualifications
- Medical device manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of PLC systems, Lean or Six Sigma, root cause analysis, and ISO Class 7 cleanrooms
- Experience working around radioactive materials
