Job Summary
Equipment Engineer for Thin Films maintenance responsible for installation planning, startup, preventive maintenance programs, spare parts planning, technician training, and overall equipment uptime. Collaborates with equipment, production, and process groups to schedule work, develops training programs for technician certification, oversees equipment relocation and installations, and participates in hiring and cross-training. Requires 5+ years of relevant maintenance experience and a bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline, with strong troubleshooting and toolset familiarity.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of maintenance experience on Thin Films or relevant semiconductor equipment
- Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline
- 2 year degree or equivalent military or technical training may be considered with significant experience
- Strong technical capability
- Ability to troubleshoot system problems to board level
- Ability to analyze equipment schematics for advanced troubleshooting of complex problems
- Experience on AMAT Centura, AMAT Ultima HDP, AMAT Tungsten Plug, AMAT Endura, Novellus Concept 2 Sequel, AG 8100 and 8108 RTPs, Tencor RS and stress Metrology tools
- Familiarity with SPC, FMEA, and standard engineering practices
- Strong communication and team work skills
- Ability and desire to learn and support additional toolsets
