Job Summary
Conduct installation and commissioning of new equipment, perform planned maintenance checks, and respond to emergency breakdowns for Water Treatment and Food & Beverage customers across the lower Midlands and Northampton. Manage your own diary to ensure timely completion of engineering appointments received from Service Coordinators, requiring strong time management skills. Work independently as a Field Service Engineer based from home, utilizing a company vehicle with tools to travel between customer sites. This role supports Solenis's global mission to deliver sustainable solutions for water-intensive industries, protecting plant assets and enhancing product quality for clients in consumer, industrial, and institutional markets.
Required Qualifications
- HNC or ONC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Experience of working in Food & Beverage, Water Treatment, or a manufacturing environment
- A clean driving license
- Strong communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Highly organised
- Ability to work under own initiative
- Computer literate
- Willing to travel between customer sites
- Live within a commutable distance of lower midlands and the Northampton region
Desired Qualifications
- PLC fault finding experience
- Proven problem solving and troubleshooting ability in engineering
- Automation and Project Management skills
