Job Summary
As an Equipment Engineer in the Consumer (Pulp & Paper) division, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and safety of chemical dosing systems and equipment. Responsibilities include repair, maintenance, and modification of dosing skids, leading installation and start-up of equipment, conducting preventive maintenance, diagnosing technical issues, and collaborating with teams to ensure proper functionality. You need a high school diploma with 3–5 years of relevant experience, a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, hands-on experience, and good communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or above in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in instrumentation for pulp and paper industry
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including pumps, valves, control panels, and instrumentation
- Hands-on experience with maintenance, troubleshooting and skid unit installation
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients
- Familiarity with safety protocols and technical documentation
