Job Summary
Manager of Equipment Maintenance leading a team of equipment engineers, technicians, and contracted field service engineers to support a 24/7 semiconductor fab in Hillsboro, OR. Responsible for driving continuous improvement in tool availability, safety, quality, and cost control while aligning manufacturing priorities with engineering and equipment support staff. Establishes and maintains a safe, productive work environment; assigns personnel; monitors workflow to meet production schedules; motivates and develops staff; administers company policies; tracks yield and output against plan; and communicates performance metrics to leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor/Master Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Business
- 8-10 years of maintenance experience on relevant semiconductor equipment
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong technical capability and experience at intermediate/advanced level
- Strong business acumen with a demonstrated ability at managing an area
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proficient at MS Office Applications
- Ability to support 24-hour operation
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations
