Job Summary

Evaluate, inspect, maintain, repair, design, analyze, and improve electronic and mechanical equipment for minimally invasive robotic surgery manufacturing. Apply engineering concepts to optimize equipment, procedures, and departmental budgets for better maintainability, reliability, and availability. Diagnose breakdown problems, perform installation and upkeep services, and design service strategies and procedures. Carry out routine scheduled equipment service, respond to faults and emergency repairs, and fit new components. Manage the equipment service database for scheduling and manuals, perform quality inspections, and control service tools and costs. Seek better technologies to improve production processes and qualify equipment for facility installation.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be able to speak, read and write in English 75%
  • Must be able to travel to the USA
  • Strong communications skills across team organizations and cultures
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering
  • Mid/high volume complex mechanism manufacturing engineering experience
  • Experienced in ISO 13485, or medical device manufacturing environment
