Job Summary
Equipment Delivery Driver at Ziegler Inc. Transport equipment to customers or other Ziegler locations, maintaining a safe driving record and complying with FMCSA regulations. Responsibilities include loading/unloading equipment, communicating with dispatch to adapt delivery schedules, performing daily vehicle inspections, documenting Hours of Service, coordinating with personnel on necessary repairs, and delivering professional, courteous service while maintaining strong customer relations. The role requires knowledge of DOT/FMCSA requirements, Class A CDL (Hazmat a plus), and the ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and inspections; prior 3–5 years of commercial driving experience is expected.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 - 5 years of commercial driving experience
- Class A CDL required
- Hazmat endorsement a plus
- Must have and maintain a clean driving record
- DOT driving requirements: valid Class A CDL, DOT medical certification, and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
- Able to drive equipment
- Able to complete daily inspection reports
- Working conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor
