Job Summary
Equipment Delivery Driver to transport CAT-equipment for Ziegler to customers and other locations; responsibilities include maintaining delivery schedule, obtaining state permits, keeping FMCSA Hours of Service logs, communicating with dispatch, loading/unloading equipment, identifying needed repairs, performing vehicle walk-around inspections, refueling and maintaining the truck/trailer, and delivering professional customer service while resolving delivery/pickup issues.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Class A CDL
- Hazmat endorsement preferred
- DOT medical certification card
- Clean driving record
- Ability to drive equipment safely
- Ability to complete daily inspection reports
- Ability to keep vehicle in clean and proper working order
- DOT drug screen and physical (pre-employment)
- DOT driving requirements: valid CDL and medical cert
