Job Summary
Transport equipment to customers or Ziegler locations while completing and updating the daily delivery schedule. Obtain state, county, and city permits; maintain accurate Hours of Service logs per FMCSA regulations; and perform vehicle walk-around inspections, refueling, and daily maintenance. Determine and communicate necessary equipment repairs to appropriate personnel. Interact with dispatch to support schedule changes, load/unload assigned equipment with Ziegler personnel, and resolve customer complaints regarding delivery or pickup. Maintain professional relationships with customers and team members while adhering to all federal, state, and local regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Class A CDL
- DOT medical certification card
- Clean driving record
- Knowledge of federal, state and local regulations

- Ability to maintain a consistent working knowledge of all equipment sold and serviced by Ziegler
- Ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance to truck and trailer
- Ability to complete and update progress of daily delivery schedule
- Ability to order state, county and city permits
- Ability to interact with dispatch throughout the day to support changes in the delivery schedule
- Ability to work with various Ziegler personnel in loading/unloading equipment that driver is assigned to move
- Ability to be a strong worker
- Ability to have excellent customer service skills
