Job Summary
Clean, prep, and paint storage containers and mobile offices to make them rental-ready, including minor cosmetic repairs, decal work, and testing office power and plumbing. Sweep, mop, power wash, and remove debris from returned units while operating forklifts to stage, load, and organize yard inventory. Perform repeatable structural fixes like repairing dents or bent cargo doors, follow lock-out/tag-out procedures, and coordinate fleet technician workflows to maximize shop productivity. Maintain clean work areas, participate in safety huddles, and complete basic equipment inspections.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Required ability to read and write
- General mechanical aptitude
- Ability to operate forklift with necessary certification
- Strong attention to detail for cleaning and inspection tasks
- Use appropriate PPE and operate tools safely
- Use lock out tag out procedures to properly test office power and plumbing
- Complete basic inspections and reporting for returned equipment and escalate issues appropriately
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, warehouse operations, equipment maintenance, or similar hands-on work environment
- Ability to operate forklift with necessary certification
- General mechanical aptitude
- Strong attention to detail for cleaning and inspection tasks
