Job Summary
Equipment Associate at United Rentals' Onsite Services division focusing on portable sanitation equipment. Responsible for safety checks, routine inspections, washing and repairing units, loading/unloading (including forklift use), maintaining yard and inventory, ensuring all units leaving the yard are rent-ready, and performing general maintenance and minor repairs. Communicates inventory counts to Dispatch, ensures accuracy of loads for the next day, and upholds professional demeanor and appearance. Opportunities for advancement into Driver and Service Technician programs, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficient operation in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- A valid driver's license
- Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs
- Diligent attention to safety
- General knowledge of yard equipment and loading/unloading of trucks
- Industry experience is a plus, but not required (training provided)
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service and positive attitude
