Job Summary
Equipment and Facilities Maintenance Technician for Scooter’s Coffee locations. Maintain and repair cafe equipment including espresso machines (Franke certification provided), brewers, refrigerators/freezers, water filters, ice machines, HVAC; perform light plumbing and basic electrical work; assist with new store setups and installations; keep records of work orders; travel for emergency repairs within ~3.5 hours of Kansas City with occasional overnight stays; report daily to KC office for assignments. Requires 2+ years maintenance experience, experience with equipment, valid driver’s license, ability to lift heavy equipment, and willingness to travel 10-20% across NE/IA and some KS/MO trips; basic tools provided; EPA 608 certification a plus. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of general maintenance experience
- Experience working on equipment or machinery
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
- Comfortable working occasional evenings/weekends
- Able to lift heavy equipment and work in tight spaces
- Basic tools (company provides any specialty ones)
- Willingness to travel 10-20% of the time for store repairs/renovations in NE/IA and some travel to KS/MO
