Job Summary
Equipment and Facilities Maintenance Technician to upkeep and repair Scooters Coffee locations across KS, MO, NE, and IA. Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing espresso machines (Franke certification provided), fixing equipment (brewers, refrigerators/freezers, water filters, ice machines, HVAC), light plumbing and electrical work, assisting with new store setups and installations, keeping records of work orders, and traveling for emergency repairs (within 3.5 hours of KC; occasional overnight stays). Requires 2+ years maintenance experience, valid driver’s license, ability to lift heavy equipment, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel ~10-20%. Must check in daily at the KC office (Mon–Fri). Bonus points for Franke experience or HVAC/refrigeration familiarity; EPA 608 certification a plus. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of general maintenance experience
- Experience working on equipment or machinery
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Comfortable with occasional evenings/weekends
- Ability to lift heavy equipment
- Basic tools (company provides specialty ones)
- Willingness to travel 10-20% of the time within KS, MO, IA, and NE
- Background check required
