Equine Veterinary Care Assistant

Support the clinical team in delivering high standards of patient and client care by managing inpatient care, performing clinical checks, providing wound care, and assisting in theatre. Admit and discharge patients while helping to acquire diagnostic images both in the hospital and on the road. Assist with patient handling and restraint under the direction of a veterinary surgeon or registered veterinary nurse, and maintain clinical areas and equipment to ensure the practice environment runs smoothly and safely. Work 39 hours a week in a busy equine referral hospital with shift work including nights and weekends to provide routine and emergency care 24/7/365.
