Job Summary
Provide horseback and carriage rides while narrating resort history to guests, and perform daily maintenance including bathing, brushing, and basic first aid. Conduct physical and psychological inspections of all horses, report abnormalities to the manager, and administer medicated feed supplements. Muck out stalls, clean alleyways and tack rooms, sweep public areas, and prepare feed. Harness and untack horses for daily use, operate farm machinery, and assist with retail operations. Maintain professional decorum during interactions with guests and team members while working daily with horses in a safe manner. Requires extensive knowledge of The Greenbrier history and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience riding and working with horses
- Drivers License
- Knowledge of tack and harness
- Ability to operate farm equipment
- Typing 40 WPM
