Job Summary
Investigate discrimination policy violations, including Title IX incidents, across faculty, staff, and students. Responsibilities include collecting relevant facts, developing unbiased written reports, maintaining confidentiality, coordinating with the Title IX Coordinator and adjudication panels, and providing timely communications. The role entails staying current with laws and best practices (Clery Act, federal/state regulations), developing and facilitating trainings on Title IX policies, processes, and procedures, and performing other duties as assigned. The position requires the ability to work weekends and evenings and travel as needed, with a focus on fairness, neutrality, and safeguarding the campus community.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education Administration, Law Enforcement, Criminology, Social Work, Psychology or related field (required); advanced degree preferred (e.g., J.D.). Three to five years of relevant work experience with Title IX investigations or investigations in a higher education setting (required).
