Job Summary
Support the Microwave Automated Factory in a high-volume, high-mix production environment within an ISO Class 8 clean room by responding to equipment, process, material, and product problems. Execute assembly processes involving automated epoxy component attachment and Radiofrequency (RF) Assembly while collaborating with product, quality, reliability, and manufacturing engineers. Develop and implement materials, processes, and production improvements using statistical process control, experimental designs, and root cause analysis. Evaluate materials, equipment, and processes for qualification and acceptance testing, then interface with internal and external suppliers to resolve technical issues. This 3rd shift, onsite position requires an active DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen, U.S. Person, or Immigration Status Requirements: The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Active and existing security clearance required after day 1
- Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training)
- minimum of 8 years relevant experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with automated assembly equipment
- This role is for 3rd shift, onsite position (10:30PM-6:30AM)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Windows Operating Systems, MS Word and Excel
- Experience in a clean room environment, following clean room and electrostatic discharge (ESD) procedures
- Experience with automated dispense, pick-and-place, and curing processes
- Experience working on a team
- Demonstrated organizational skills and problem solving ability
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment
