ePowertrain System Integration Engineer

Job Summary
ePowertrain System Integration Engineer responsible for system-level integration, design, and validation of ePowertrain systems, ensuring optimal collaboration among motors, inverters, drivetrains, control software, and related subsystems in terms of performance, reliability, and manufacturability. Lead or participate in system-level integration, define and maintain system architecture, interfaces, and functional decomposition. Translate system requirements into executable design specifications, integration solutions, and validation plans. Coordinate cross-disciplinary teams in mechanical, electrical, software, and controls to drive design decisions. Participate in prototype build, testing, performance analysis, and root-cause investigation. Support design reviews, technical risk assessments, and cost and manufacturability analysis. Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to support component selection, system integration, and performance optimization. Prepare and maintain system-level technical documentation, test reports, and engineering change records. Stay current with new technologies, materials, and industry trends to identify system-level improvement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering or related field (electrical, mechanical, mechatronics, controls, or similar disciplines)
- Systems Thinking: Ability to understand and manage the interdependencies among subsystems within complex systems
- Product Design and Development: Ability to translate requirements into system-level designs and support the full process from concept to production
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong structured analysis, root-cause investigation, and technical decision-making capability
- Cross-Team Communication: Ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary and geographically distributed teams
- Familiarity with engineering design processes, prototype development, and system validation methods
- Strong technical documentation writing and review skills
- Project experience related to ePowertrain, electric drive systems, or new energy vehicles
- Experience in system integration, system validation, or vehicle/powertrain-level testing
- Familiarity with motors, inverters, drivetrains, or control strategies
- Experience collaborating with suppliers or working on cross-organizational projects
- Knowledge of quality, reliability, or continuous improvement methodologies
