Job Summary
Lead the Epilepsy/EEG Section within the Department of Neurology at Endeavor Health NorthShore Hospitals. Head a multidisciplinary team of Epilepsy and Neurophysiology specialists, APPs, and technicians; oversee comprehensive EEG/EMU monitoring, intra-operative monitoring, and advanced neurophysiology labs; participate in clinical research; contribute to academic Neurology initiatives and training of future neurologists in partnership with the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine.
Required Qualifications
- Medical license in Illinois or license eligible
- Completion of epilepsy fellowship (1-2 years; 2-year preferred)
- Board certified or board eligible in Neurology
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a neurology/epilepsy program
- Ability to lead Epilepsy/EEG Section and EEG/EMU testing
- Experience with intra-operative monitoring and advanced neurophysiology labs
- Academic appointment with a medical school (University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine) preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Leadership experience in epilepsy program
- Epilepsy or Neurology fellowship completion
- Board certification or eligibility in Neurology
- Illinois medical license or license eligible
- Experience leading a multidisciplinary team (APPs, neurophysiology staff)
