Job Summary

EPILEPSY SPECIALIST role leading the Intracranial Epilepsy Monitoring Program within MaineHealth Neurology. Full-time Neurologist with a 2-year surgical epilepsy fellowship to serve as Medical Director of the intracranial epilepsy monitoring program, overseeing patient care and program development. Based at the MaineHealth Scarborough Campus with on-site MRI and neurodiagnostic lab, and collaboration with the EMU at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME. Opportunities for research and dedicated academic time/pathway. Joint teaching responsibilities with MaineHealth Neurology residents and Tufts MS IV/medical students; academic appointment through Tufts medical school with potential advancement. The program is a level III Epilepsy Center, with potential growth toward a level IV and ongoing collaboration with epileptologists, neuroradiologists, nuclear medicine, neuropsychology, and psychometrics.

Required Qualifications

  • board certified/eligible Neurologist
