Job Summary
Epileptologist faculty position focusing on presurgical evaluation and SEEG in adult patients within the Division of Epilepsy. Collaborate with neuroradiology, neuropsychology, neuropsychiatry, EEG technologists, Advanced Practice Providers, and neurosurgery for epilepsy surgery candidates. Must have an MD or equivalent and be board certified/eligible in Neurology and Epilepsy with the ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license, and have completed at least two years of epilepsy fellowship with experience in presurgical evaluation and SEEG interpretation. Offered with sign-on bonus and relocation, a 10-bed EMU, competitive base salary commensurate with experience, and an outstanding benefits package. Faculty appointment through the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine/UPMC with opportunities for clinical service, teaching, and research within a nationally recognized epilepsy program. Location noted as Sharpsburg, PA under the UPMC network.
Required Qualifications
- MD or equivalent
- board certified/eligible in Neurology and Epilepsy
- MD or equivalent and board certified/eligible in Neurology and Epilepsy
- completed at least two years of epilepsy fellowship
- experience in presurgical evaluation and interpretation of stereo-EEG in adult patients with drug-resistant epilepsy
- ability to obtain unrestricted PA license
