Job Summary
Faculty epileptologist position within the Division of Epilepsy in the Department of Neurology at the University of Pittsburgh/UPMC. Lead clinical and collaborative efforts in the surgical epilepsy program, work with neuroradiology, neuropsychology, neuropsychiatry, EEG technologists, APPs, nurses, and social workers; involve presurgical evaluation and SEEG interpretation for adults with drug-resistant epilepsy, and contribute to research and clinical activities across a level-4 epilepsy center; requires MD or equivalent and board-certified/eligible in Neurology and Epilepsy with a PA license, sign-on bonus and relocation included, and a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
Required Qualifications
- completed at least two years of epilepsy fellowship
- experience in presurgical evaluation and interpretation of stereo-EEG in adult patients with drug-resistant epilepsy
- MD or equivalent
- board certified/eligible in Neurology and Epilepsy
- ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license
