Epilepsy position at UPMC in Pittsburgh, PA

Become part of the epilepsy division within the Department of Neurology at UPMC and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine as an epileptologist with a primary focus on the surgical epilepsy program. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including neuroradiologists, neuropsychologists, neuropsychiatrists, EEG technologists, APPs, epilepsy nurses and social workers. Responsibilities include presurgical evaluation and interpretation of stereo-EEG, clinical care for adults with drug-resistant epilepsy, and involvement in ongoing research and education. The department operates a new 10-bed EMU and integrates services across outpatient clinics, EEG monitoring, and subspecialty clinics related to epilepsy surgery. Candidates must have an MD or equivalent, be board certified/eligible in Neurology and Epilepsy, have completed at least two years of epilepsy fellowship, and be eligible to obtain an unrestricted PA medical license.
