Job Summary
Faculty epileptologist in the Division of Epilepsy within the Department of Neurology. Primary focus on the surgical epilepsy program with involvement in presurgical evaluation and interpretation of stereo-EEG for adults with drug-resistant epilepsy. Collaborates with neuroradiology, neuropsychology, neuropsychiatry, EEG technologists, advanced practice providers, epilepsy nurses and social workers. Offers include sign-on bonus, relocation, competitive rank with base salary commensurate with experience, 6 weeks of vacation (4 weeks) and CME allowance (2 weeks), and an appointment at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine commensurate with experience. An EMU with 10 beds and a multidisciplinary epilepsy program is described, along with ongoing research and NAEC accreditation references.
Required Qualifications
- MD or equivalent
- board certified/eligible in Neurology and Epilepsy
- completion of at least two years of epilepsy fellowship
- unrestricted PA license or ability to obtain one
