Job Summary
The Tennessee Department of Health is seeking a contract Epidemiologist 1 to provide epidemiologic expertise in support of tobacco use prevention and health services programs, analyze data, create reports, and ensure compliance with grant requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in analytical methods and statistical software; SAS experience preferred
- Expert in Microsoft suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong oral and written communication skills; technical writing skills are required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with data visualization; Tableau proficiency strongly preferred
- Experience managing databases; REDCap experience is strongly preferred
- Experience evaluating and supporting public health programs is strongly preferred
