Job Summary
Conduct foundational training for new clinical and non-clinical staff, including system training, role-specific basics, and patient-centric care principles. Complete competency check-offs and facilitate the transition to role-specific development while collaborating with hiring leaders and preceptors for onboarding. Deliver remedial training and 1:1 support for existing staff, assist with workflow changes and new protocols, and participate in annual competency evaluations. Work with the Clinical Nurse Educator, Nursing Director, and Compliance Coordinator to enhance training programs, provide feedback on materials, and contribute to metrics for patient care excellence. Manage insurance logins, document orientation sessions, and participate in weekly clinical education meetings. Travel up to 50% between clinics in Nashville and surrounding counties.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Degree, Diploma or Certificate of Completion from an Accredited Medical Assistant Program or Nursing School
- Active, unrestricted Tennessee license
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting
- Become Epic credentialed within 6 months of hire
- BLS certified
- Valid driver's license
- Vehicle insurance
- Ability to stand/walk/sit up to eight hours per day
- Stoop, bend, twist, lift greater than 25lbs
- Push/pull up to 150lbs
- Travel up to 50% between clinics, offices, and administrative identified office, other locations in the Nashville and surrounding counties
