Job Summary
Lead the complete project lifecycle for Epic Electronic Health Record implementation and optimization, developing detailed plans, schedules, and budgets while coordinating cross-functional teams including clinicians, analysts, and vendors. Manage scope, timelines, risks, and change requests to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, driving workflow analysis, process improvement, and end-user adoption strategies. Facilitate governance meetings, executive reporting, and integration activities with third-party applications like Oracle, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulatory standards. Track milestones and KPIs to support PMO leadership and optimize post-implementation performance.
Required Qualifications
- Active Epic Certification in one or more modules such as EpicCare, Resolute, Cadence, or other Epic clinical or revenue cycle modules
- Strong knowledge of Epic implementation methodology
- Experience managing large-scale healthcare IT or EHR implementation projects
- Expertise in project management methodologies including PMBOK, Agile, Scrum, or PRINCE2
- Strong understanding of Electronic Health Records (EHR), Clinical workflows, Revenue Cycle, Patient data management, and Healthcare interoperability
- Experience coordinating system integrations with Oracle or other third-party healthcare applications
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards including HIPAA and healthcare security best practices
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and risk management capabilities
