Job Summary
Design, build, configure, test, and maintain Epic Patient Access applications including Cadence, Prelude, Real-Time Eligibility (RTE), and Decision Trees. Configure and support RTE workflows for payer connectivity and eligibility verification while optimizing front-end revenue cycle performance. Design and maintain Decision Trees to guide registration and scheduling staff through standardized workflows. Serve as the liaison between Patient Access operations, Revenue Cycle leadership, IT, and third-party vendors to resolve issues and implement enhancements. Provide end-user support, troubleshoot application issues, coordinate software updates, and execute test plans for application changes. Collaborate with technical teams to identify integration issues and support ongoing Epic upgrades and change management following ITIL best practices. Quarterly travel required for onsite meetings and go-live support.
Required Qualifications
- Epic Cadence and Prelude Certifications required
- Epic Real-Time Eligibility (RTE) Certification required
- Minimum 3 years of Epic Patient Access analyst experience, including Epic Cadence and Prelude build, configuration, implementation, testing, and production support
- Demonstrated experience configuring and optimizing Real-Time Eligibility (RTE) workflows, including payer connectivity, eligibility response troubleshooting, and insurance verification processes
- Experience designing and maintaining Epic Decision Trees to support registration, scheduling, and patient access workflows
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
