Job Summary
Design, build, and test electronic documentation solutions supporting clinical and revenue cycle workflows while leading project meetings and assigning duties with minimal oversight. Facilitate application workflow design, integrate systems, and configure, debug, and maintain programs based on user specifications. Develop test scripts for end-to-end workflow testing, evaluate special enhancement requests, and troubleshoot escalated technical issues. Monitor process improvements, maintain service level agreements, and lead user group meetings to mentor support staff. Handle on-call duties for critical applications outside business hours and travel up to 25% for go-live events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Five years' healthcare IT application/technical experience
- Five years' of applicable Epic application experience
- Epic Certification/Accreditation in area of responsibility
- Must be able to travel up to 25% as required by the role
- Must receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment
- Must acknowledge and understand E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- EpicCare Ambulatory certification
- Certification in Bones or Wisdom
- Experience supporting Occupational Health or Occupational Medicine workflows in Epic
- Exposure to the Epic Occupational Medicine (Occ Med) module
