Job Summary

Translate business data needs into structured extracts or custom solutions within the Epic reporting suite. Design, develop, and maintain robust BI solutions by configuring settings, security groups, and custom metrics for tools like Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer, and Cubes. Collaborate with analysts, database administrators, and business users to understand workflows, while providing technical support and training on data interpretation. Develop auditing processes to ensure accurate data availability and distribute analytics content to consumers. Maintain the Analytics Catalog, documentation for data sources and logic, and ensure all reporting complies with HIPAA and privacy regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in engineering, physics, computer sciences, math, information systems, or statistics
  • Bachelor's in Math, Business or Information Systems
  • 3 years' experience in a Business Analyst or Data Analyst role, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • 6 years of related experience in lieu of degree
  • Experience in relational database, report writing, and/or SQL
  • Experience with analytics and reporting in a healthcare environment
  • Epic Clarity Data Model Certification/Accreditation
  • Access Data Model Certification/Accreditation
  • Clinical Data Model Certification/Accreditation
  • Revenue Data Model Certification/Accreditation
  • Cogito Certification/Accreditation

Desired Qualifications

  • A degree in engineering, physics, computer sciences, math, information systems, or statistics (preferred)
  • Prior experience working with an AR system
  • Prior experience working with an EMR system
  • Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, or other 3rd party visualization tool
