Job Summary
Lead Epic Beacon and Ambulatory application maintenance, troubleshooting, and system configuration while serving as a Subject Matter Expert for assigned modules. Independently prepare workflow demonstrations, lead end-user training sessions, and coordinate conversions and testing to support go-live activities. Resolve complex multi-team issues, review vendor upgrades, and collaborate with IS teams to align build decisions with organizational policies and clinical workflows. Mentor Analyst I staff and facilitate huddles to improve team performance. Requires current Epic Beacon certification with proficiency in additional modules; full-time role with potential travel for training.
Required Qualifications
- Epic Beacon certification
- Epic Ambulatory certification
- Two to three (2-3) years of healthcare operations (clinical, patient care, administrative or revenue cycle), information technology or health information technology experience
- Demonstrated competency in Applications Analyst I role
- Willing to travel for training and achieve certification within 90 days of completion of training at Epic in application as assigned
- Epic Beacon certification required to be considered

- Ability to independently prepare and deliver workflow and functional demonstrations
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- ability to perform high-quality system build work with minimal supervision
- Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned applications/modules within projects and initiatives
- Thorough understanding of organizational policies, procedures, and operational workflows
- ability to support ticket resolution across multiple Epic modules
- effectively collaborate with end users, the help desk, and IS teams
- Skilled in leading end-user learning sessions
