Epic Applications Analyst - Transplant and Dialysis _ Division of Information Systems

Research, test, troubleshoot, document, release, implement, and support department-supported Epic applications. Provide leadership, guidance, and training to staff; assist in developing training materials and training users. Apply creative thinking to resolve problems; identify and correct technical issues. Work with IS staff, vendors, users, and operational owners to design and enhance applications and business processes. Prepare specifications, document issues, tasks, project status, and actual resource hours in accordance with standards and policies. Develop test plans, conduct testing/debugging, and ensure smooth implementation and integration of systems at project/ticket level. Participate in project teams and special assignments; meet goals and deadlines. Provide support to end users and foster positive relationships with internal teams, UMMC units, and vendors. Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and the UMMC corporate compliance program. Implement business continuity procedures to maintain system reliability. Maintain effective communication with supervisors, team members, and customers. Stay current with emerging technologies and evolving operational needs; serve as a resource to staff.
