Job Summary
Conduct foundational to intermediate analysis of Epic application design, including planning implementations, optimizing application use, and resolving issues with minimal supervision. Provide application support, troubleshooting, training, and reporting while serving as a liaison between TSG groups, clients, and vendors. Develop documentation, gather requirements, and analyze client business needs with direction from senior analysts. Participate in an on-call rotation covering evenings, weekends, and holidays, and track work effort for timely status updates. Requires an associates degree or two years of related experience, vendor certifications, and the ability to work in a matrixed environment with flexibility beyond standard business hours.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare, business or minimum of 2 years may be considered in lieu of degree
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience
- Obtains and maintains a minimum of 2 vendor and/or industry certifications/proficiencies as determined by management following a primary Epic support application proficiency path
- Must maintain a certification/proficiency in an applicable Epic module
- Must be a self-initiated team player able to work under minimal supervision, with strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Must be able to work both independently and in a team setting
- Must facilitate a positive and collaborative work environment
- Must be flexible and capable of prioritizing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
- Effective communication skills (oral, written, and presentation)
- Ability to collaborate with others, including clients and vendors
- Must demonstrate dependability, accountability, adherence to documentation and departmental processes, appropriate escalation, awareness of clinical and compliance impacts, adaptability, continuous learning, and respect for confidential information
- Must be able to work in a matrixed environment and understand bimodal work principles
- Must be able to participate in an after-hours on-call rotation
- Occasional travel
