Job Summary
This entry-level position focuses on the implementation, maintenance, and support of Epic Systems applications in healthcare. Key responsibilities include assisting in software implementation, providing first-level support for end-users, conducting training, creating documentation, participating in testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Candidates should have a BA/BS or equivalent experience, demonstrate strong analytical skills, and possess excellent communication abilities.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS required or 2 years of relevant work experience in healthcare may be substituted.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work on rotational after hours and Saturdays as needed.
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred Epic Systems certification in one or more modules or must obtain within 6 months of hire.
- Knowledge of Agile methodology (JIRA) ticketing system (preferred).
- Previous experience with healthcare IT systems or Epic applications (preferred).
