Job Summary
The entry-level Epic Application Analyst I plays a vital role in the implementation, maintenance, and support of Epic Systems software applications in healthcare. Responsibilities include assisting with the configuration of software modules based on business requirements, providing first-level user support, troubleshooting issues, and conducting training for end-users. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills, communication abilities, and familiarity with Microsoft Office. A BA/BS degree or equivalent healthcare experience is required, along with the potential to obtain Epic certification within six months.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS required or 2 years of relevant work experience in healthcare may be substituted
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to work on rotational after hours and Saturdays as needed
- Ability to read and write English fluently is required
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred Epic Systems certification in one or more modules or must obtain within 6 months of hire
- Knowledge of Agile methodology (JIRA) ticketing system (preferred)
- Previous experience with healthcare IT systems or Epic applications (preferred)
