Job Summary
Epic Application Analyst – Healthy Planet/Compass Rose (Remote eligible). This role leads and coordinates IT efforts to implement, support, and optimize an Epic EHR system. Responsibilities include resolving complex technical issues, coordinating issue-resolution plans with operations, performing routine maintenance (updates, patches, upgrades), leading testing/validation for system changes, participating in strategic planning for EHR systems, driving continuous improvement for usability and interoperability, managing projects for EHR implementations and upgrades, establishing governance and regulatory-compliance processes, and mentoring junior analysts. Requires Bachelor's degree, Epic Application certifications, and 2+ years IT/healthcare experience; salary is not disclosed in the posting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Certification in 1 or more Epic Applications
- 2+ years of applicable IT or healthcare experience
- Strong analytical, organizational, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within teams
- Expert understanding of healthcare business processes and workflows
- Cross-application integration knowledge
- Project management skills
